Meet David Rundblad

A compilation of David Rundblad, the Swedish defenseman currently playing for Skellefteå AIK in the Swedish Elitserien. He was drafted 17th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, and traded to the Ottawa Senators on June 25th, 2010.

He has a very good shot. He is a right-handed shot and he is used on the power play, even in the (Elite) League despite being a young player. He is a very smart player.
Goran Stubb, Director of European Scouting

…a beautiful skater, adept at making “coast-to-coast” plays on the ice. He is first and foremost a puck-moving blueliner, but given time to develop a more efficient defensive side to his game, should be become a well-rounded two-way defenseman.
